Application for Funding

The Council administers federal funds to develop and demonstrate ways of better serving people with developmental disabilities, as outlined in the Council’s Five-Year Plan. The Council reviews the Plan at least annually and decides to fund new projects as needed. When the Council decides to fund a new project, a Solicitation of Proposals (SOP) is developed and publicly disseminated.

Forms and Guidelines for SOP Respondents

Applicants for Council funding are advised to read “The Guidelines for Funding Applications" and to submit a complete Application for Funding packet that in addition to the Proposal includes the Cover Sheet, W-9 Tax Form (if applicable), and a Board Resolution, Signature of Authority, or Disclosure of Ownership confirming that the applicant is authorized to enter into contracts. DD Council contract budgets may include Salaries/Wages, Related Benefits, Travel, Operating Expenses, Supplies, Professional Services, Capital Assets and Indirect/Administrative Services (limited to 8% of the contract amount).  There is no guarantee of funding to the submitter of a proposal.  Please find the forms for your Application below:
