26-27 LDOE IDEA Grant Application Public Comment

Each year, the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) completes a grant application that explains how it will use funding from the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). These funds support services for students with disabilities, including direct services, training, monitoring, and technology.

LDOE is asking for public feedback on this application.

Submit your comments by April 30, 2026 at 5 p.m.

• An LDOE staff member may contact you for follow-up
• Your comments are public and may be shared under the Freedom of Information Act

The current draft is based on last year’s application while LDOE waits for final 2026 funding details.
