The Senate Finance Committee will be voting on the state’s budget bill for next year (HB1) and a supplemental bill, HB460, this Sunday, June 1st. The committee needs to hear from you about how the state will spend its money next year!
Currently, HB1 does not cut any funding for disability services! It’s still important to let the committee know how important these services are to people with disabilities.

HB460 restores $250,000 for Families Helping Families (FHF) Regional Resource Centers. This funding is needed to help the Centers continue serving their communities. However, they are still $250,000 short of what is needed to fully fund these centers.
For more details on these funding issues, check out the fact sheets below:

Please contact Senate Finance today, and join us for Yellow Shirt Day Sunday!
