Please join us in welcoming Erika Joseph as the new LaCAN Leader for Region 4!
This region includes Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, and Vermilion Parishes.
Erika is a strong advocate and a parent of a child with a disability. Her personal experience helps her understand the needs of people with disabilities and their families. She cares deeply about making systems better and more inclusive for everyone.
Erika brings helpful knowledge from working with schools and community programs. She serves on the Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) for the Lafayette Parish School Board and is part of the Partners in Policymaking program (Class of 2026).
Erika is excited to help others, speak up for change, and make a difference in her community. That passion is what led her to LaCAN.
We encourage you to reach out to Erika! You can get to know her, share about yourself, and learn how to get more involved in LaCAN. Her contact information, along with all LaCAN Leaders, can be found HERE.
