The Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council’s 2025 Legislative Advocacy Agenda will be shared across the state at virtual LaCAN Regional Roundtables. This year’s advocacy agenda includes:

• Protect Disability Services from Cuts
• Restore Funding for Families Helping Families Regional Resource Centers

Individuals with disabilities, family members, advocates and professionals within the disability community are encouraged to attend these virtual roundtables to learn more about the advocacy agenda and how to get involved in the Council’s other advocacy opportunities like legislative visits, yellow shirt days and public testimony.
