LaDDC News: Beneficiary Advisory Committee Membership Opportunity

The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) is forming a Beneficiary Advisory Committee (BAC) and are in need of members. Membership in BAC will include:

• People on Medicaid
• Family members of people on Medicaid
• Caregivers (paid or unpaid) of people on Medicaid

BAC will be a subcommittee of LDH’s larger Medicaid Advisory Committee. Members will advise LDH on a range of topics including, but not limited to, changes to covered services, coordination of care, quality of services, and the eligibility application and renewal processes.

Application deadline is April 30, 2025. Membership will be selected in May with BAC’s first meeting happening in June or July. All questions regarding the BAC can be submitted to [email protected].
