LaDDC News: Council Releases 2024 Annual Report

The Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council is happy to share its 2024 Annual Report!

Each year, the Council puts together a report that talks about all the work we did during the past year. This work helps make changes to laws, rules, and services in Louisiana that affect people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

In this year’s report, you will read about many of the activities we supported to make sure that people with developmental disabilities can make their own choices, be as independent as possible, work or volunteer, and be part of their communities, just like everyone else. That means families and individuals are at the center of planning and decision-making, and the services they get are built around what they really need.
