LaDDC News: Public Notice of Parent & Family Engagement Task Force Meeting

The Parent & Family Engagement Task Force, created by HR239 of the 2024 Legislative Session, along with the Louisiana Department of Education will be hosting an upcoming meeting (Agenda). This Task Force is specifically tasked with making recommendations to improve academic outcomes by increasing high-quality, effective parent and family engagement.

The DD Council encourages all stakeholders to participate in these public meetings to share their thoughts and ideas on how the education system can better engage parents and families of students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Information about the next meeting can be found below.
