YLF is currently recruiting delegates for its four-day program this summer. The program will be held July 10 – 13, 2025 at the Louisiana State University at Eunice campus. All speakers are peer mentors with disabilities. In addition to learning about advocacy and leadership, delegates will have the opportunity to make like-minded friends and build community. This program gives delegates the skills needed to become future leaders!
Lodging, accommodations, and meals will be provided at no cost. There is a staff to camper ratio of 1:1, as well as, two RNs who will be onsite 24/7 during the program.
Delegates/Campers
- Are you in the 10th, 11th or 12th grade and have a disability?
- Are you interested in learning about the history and culture of the disability community?
- Do you believe your voice can influence policy and make positive changes for people with disabilities?
- Will you commit to attending this summer program July 10 – 13th at the Louisiana State University in Eunice?
