The Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council is seeking a new Program Monitor. This position is responsible for coordinating portions of the Council’s Planning and Public Information Program. The Program Monitor coordinates all public policy advocacy networks and related initiatives of the Council to promote the self-determination, independence, integration, productivity and inclusion of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Major duties of this position include:

  • Coordinating, assisting and monitoring the Council’s public policy advocacy and family support initiatives (i.e., LaCAN, Families Helping Families) and
  • Planning and coordinating advocacy and public awareness events.
