The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) is asking people to help shape how new funding for Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) will be used.

During the 2026 Legislative Session, the Louisiana Legislature approved some funding to increase Medicaid reimbursement rates for HCBS. Now, LDH wants to hear from people with disabilities, family members, providers, support coordinators, and other stakeholders before deciding how the funding will be distributed.
