TEach year, the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) applies for funding from the U.S. Department of Education through the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). This funding helps support special education services across the state.
LDOE is asking for feedback from people involved in special education, including school staff, families, and community members. This feedback will help decide how funding should be used.
Your input will help shape the IDEA grant application for the 2026–2027 school year.
