The Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council is seeking a Program Monitor to join our team.

This position supports advocacy, public policy activities, and Council initiatives that improve the lives of people with developmental disabilities across Louisiana.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting leaders in the Council’s grassroots advocacy network, LaCAN
• Assisting with advocacy and public awareness efforts
• Supporting Families Helping Families Centers
• Supporting our Partners in Policymaking training program
• Monitoring Council initiatives and projects

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Organized and a strong communicator
• Interested in advocacy and disability issues
• Comfortable working with partners statewide
• Able to work independently and as a team
• People with disabilities and their families members are encouraged to apply
