The Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council is seeking a Program Monitor to join our team.
This position supports advocacy, public policy activities, and Council initiatives that improve the lives of people with developmental disabilities across Louisiana.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting leaders in the Council’s grassroots advocacy network, LaCAN
- Assisting with advocacy and public awareness efforts
- Supporting Families Helping Families Centers
- Supporting our Partners in Policymaking training program
- Monitoring Council initiatives and projects
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Organized and a strong communicator
- Interested in advocacy and disability issues
- Comfortable working with partners statewide
- Able to work independently and as a team
- People with disabilities and their families members are encouraged to apply
