Public Comment Needed on 2027–2031 Five-Year Plan

The Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council has written a draft of its new Five-Year Plan for 2027–2031. This plan explains what the Council wants to work on in the next five years.

We want to hear what you think about the plan.

You can:

• Tell us what parts you agree with
• Suggest changes or improvements
• Share concerns
• Tell us if anything is missing or unclear

How to Review and Comment

Please email your comments to [email protected] by December 18, 2025.

When you send your comments, please include:

• Your name
• If you are a self-advocate, family member, or stakeholder
• The part(s) of the plan you are talking about
• Your suggested change(s) and your reason for the suggestion

We will read all comments. We will use your feedback to make changes before the Council votes on the final plan in January 2026.
