Public Notice of January 2026 Council Meeting

January 7, 2026

The Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council’s January Council Meeting will be held January 28– 29, 2026. All Council meetings are open to the public, and all citizens are welcome to attend virtually and/or in person. The anchor location will be at the Council’s Office located at 4354 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd. Suite 200, in Baton Rouge. Please note the Council Office has moved.

Meeting documents will be posted on the Council’s website upon receipt, along with the Zoom Meeting Registration links for those wishing to participate virtually. For more information on how to register for Council meetings, please see the step-by-step instructions at the end of this announcement.

As always, all efforts will be made to stream the meeting live on the Council’s YouTube channel. The Council’s Teleconference/Videoconference Protocols for conducting Council meetings includes information on how to submit written public comment. All comments received by noon the day before a meeting will be shared with committee members. Click HERE to submit a written public comment. How to Register on Zoom

1. ]Go to the Council’s website and open the 2026 Meetings page.
2. Find the meeting you want and click the Register button.
3. Type your first name, last name, and email.
4. Click the blue Register button.
5. You will see the Zoom link right away, and it will also be sent to your email.
