The Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council (Council) is looking for people or groups to work on projects that help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities learn important information described in the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2026 Action Plan. These projects will take place during the 2026 budget year (October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026).
Projects You Can Apply For:
- Sex Education: Create and teach a sex education program for middle and high school students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The lessons should be easy to understand and fit the needs of the students.

- Women’s Health Education: Make simple, easy-to-read materials that help women with intellectual and developmental disabilities learn how to take care of their bodies and get health check-ups.
