The Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council has partnered with People First of Louisiana to offer 10 statewide training opportunities to empower and educate individuals on voting rights for people with disabilities. Adults with disabilities, their families and other interested organizations and stakeholders are encouraged to attend.
Attendees will gain valuable information about:

- Why you should vote;
- The process of voting;
- Assistance and accommodations with voting;
- Rights and Responsibilities; and
- The meaning of Constitutional Amendments.

The Secretary of State’s office will also provide a demonstration and provide attendees with a hand on voting experience. Take advantage of this incredible opportunity to receive valuable information about voting rights and learn how to make your voice heard!
These trainings are free to attend, but registration is required.
